I have been working as a counsellor and psychotherapist for over five years, I see both individuals and couples. My approach is adaptive, integrative, and holistic. I draw on different therapeutic approaches and modalities that best suits the client’s needs, using a combination of CBT and solution focused therapy, working with clients in an empathic, collaborative, non-judgemental and supportive way. The therapeutic process is based on a secure confiding relationship between the client and therapist, actively listening to the client and been able to help the client put together the pieces of the puzzle.
I have experience working with trauma, post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, work related stress, grief & bereavement, stress, miscarriages, infant loss, couples therapy, termination, pregnancy, self-esteem issues, women’s health, anxiety, childhood issues and sexual issues.
A trusting and respectful relationship is essential in helping a person to be completely open when exploring potentially difficult feelings and emotions.
