Jane has been working as a fully qualified and accredited psychotherapist since 2002. Jane works both in private practice and in the voluntary sector.
She works with individuals presenting with wide ranging behavioural, emotional and psychological challenges including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, school refusal, low self- esteem, self-harm, suicide ideation, loss, trauma and other life events.
She is particularly interested in supporting children and adolescents who she works with either directly through individual or group sessions or indirectly through their parents by working with parents themselves. Her approach with clients is eclectic and needs led. Jane is experienced both working psychoanalytically and systemically (within a family context). In her work with children Jane works creatively through art and play.
