He currently works in the health service specialising in the assessment and support of children and adolescents with developmental delays and disabilities, such as ASD, ADD/ADHD, Global Developmental Delay and Intellectual Disability. Through his work in this service Conall is very experienced in providing gold-standard assessments and reports that lead to practical supports for children in school or through their local health service teams.
“Entering into the process of assessment can be a daunting time for parents and their child. It is often the first time that you are engaging with a professional with a query about your child’s development or presentation. As such, assessments should be open and collaborative, with room for questions and clear explanations throughout the process. Taking the time to get to know you and your child is crucial to ensuring that the assessment is completed to the highest standard, and, that the supports recommended by the report are bespoke actionable recommendations that will allow your child to reach their potential.”
