Christine Gormley is an accredited psychoanalytic psychotherapist and member of APPI (Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Ireland) and ICP (Irish Council for Psychotherapy). She received her MPhil degree in Psychoanalytic Studies from Trinity College Dublin and completed her clinical MA in Psychoanalytic psychotherapy at Independent Colleges Dublin where she graduated with first class honours and was the recipient of the president’s award.

Christine aims to provide a confidential and comfortable space in which anyone can speak freely about their thoughts, hopes and fears. The treatment aims to support an individual in gaining a deeper level of insight into and understanding of what drives or shapes them in order to facilitate change and better cope with life. She has experience working with a broad range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, eating disorders, obsessive thoughts, anger, as well as relationship and sexual difficulties.

“Whether it be a moment of personal crisis, or a persistent or on-going problem, each person makes the decision to speak to a psychotherapist for their own unique reasons. Exploring these reasons, along with the myriad other factors which contribute to our suffering can bring about new and potentially life-changing insights and allow us to live our lives more freely.”
