Prior to qualifying as a play and creative arts therapist, Papia has worked for over 20 years as an early year’s educator around the globe. She is deeply passionate about the holistic development of a child. Having seen the first-hand benefits of creative arts and play as a classroom teacher, she wanted to offer the therapeutic benefits to a larger number of children of different age groups. Besides offering play therapy to individuals, Papia also offers services to small groups of children.

Creative arts and play therapy is a non-invasive and self-directed therapeutic intervention for children 4-13 years. It known to have healing benefits to help a child resolve any social or emotional issues that are causing difficulties in their day to day life.

The therapeutic sessions are self-directed and children have a variety of therapeutic mediums to choose from ranging from creative arts, sand, clay, puppets, games, music, creative visualization, therapeutic story telling and Lego.

Papia lives by the motto: ‘Forget all the reasons it will not work, believe in the one reason it will’
