Couples and individuals seeking to adopt a child must now go through a rigorous and extensive process of assessment which is carried out by the HSE in Ireland. 

In relation to adopting from abroad, it is often required that this is supplemented with an additional requirement for a psychological report to be carried out by a psychologist who is registered with The Psychological Society of Ireland. This can take the form of: 

• a generalised assessment through a face-to-face interview or
• the application of a range of psychometric tests with a detailed interpretation and report.

Arduna has two psychologists who specialise in each of these services. You will be offered a speedy appointment and given the report suitable to your needs.
