Samantha is a qualified and accreditted Systemic Family Therapist with sixteen years experience working with families, couples, parents, young people and individual adults who are experiencing a wide range of difficulties in their lives and relationships.

Her approach within therapy involves valuing the client as the expert in their own life.  Therefore she aims to work collaboratively with her client to develop a partnership in which meaningful dialogue can take place.  Exploring all sides of a presenting problem can bring about difference and facilitate change in people's lives.

Samantha draws on a variety of techniques and modalities within her work which includes narrative therapy, cognitive behavioural techniques and solution-focussed therapy.  She responds to the specific needs of her clients in this regard.

In addition to working in private practice Samantha works within a community-based centre and has many years experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.  Samantha is available to work with families, couples, parents, adolescents and individuals.
