Martina specialises in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy developed by Aaron T Beck and has training at the Trauma and Transformation Centre in Omagh, Co Tyrone with trauma specialist Dr Kate Gillespie.

Martina works with adolescents and adults and specialises in working with disorders such as stress, depression, anxiety, social phobia, panic, post-traumatic stress disorder and OCD using Cognitive Behavioural psychotherapy.

Martina has participated as an expert on a number of radio and television shows on anxiety-related conditions such as The Afternoon Show, Seoige, and Ryan Tubridy.

Over the past ten years Martina has worked extensively as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. She has worked in several community-based clinics and educational settings. She also lectures and supervises on the postgraduate and foundation programmes in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy at Trinity College, Dublin, and Dublin City University and also works as a part-time lecturer on the Primary Care training programme.
