Margaret’s background is in Social Work.  She has worked in hospitals and in the Probation and Welfare Service for the past 26 years dealing with illness, death and bereavement, organ retention, violent behaviour, relationship difficulties and addictions.  She is currently working with families of young children and disabilities.  

Margaret qualified with a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy in 1998 from the Dublin Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre and works as an individual psychotherapist.  She specialises in individual and group work with those who have survived sexual trauma.
