Kiera holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology, a Masters in Applied Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology; all completed in Trinity College Dublin. As a Clinical Psychologist, Kiera has a breadth of experience in assessment and therapeutic work with clients of all ages. Over the past 9 years, she has gathered extensive clinical experience within adult and child mental health services, child sexual abuse services, a suicide prevention project for young people, and working with women and children who have experienced domestic violence.

Kiera has a particular interest in working therapeutically with children and adolescents, and has specialist experience in the areas of suicide prevention, deliberate self harm, trauma, and emotional intelligence. Kiera tailors her work to the individual needs of the young person and their parents, and her style as a therapist is focused on optimising strengths and working towards solutions. Alongside this, her primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

As a clinical psychologist, Kiera is also available to carry out psychological assessments and reports in many areas including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
