James is a fully qualified and accredited cognitive behavioural therapist with the BABCP and CBPI. He qualified from Queens University Belfast in 2012. Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is talking therapy that will help you manage your problems by changing the way you think, feel and behave. It focuses specifically on the problems and difficulties that you are experiencing now, rather than issues based in the past.

James will show you ways of changing negative thoughts and composing alternative ways of thinking about your situation, all of which will make you feel better. The emphasis is on finding solutions that work for you, so that you can become your own therapist by applying new skills and techniques to old patterns of thinking and behaving

James is skilled in working on a range of complex psychological and emotional difficulties
