Gustavo's long experience includes hospital work in psychiatry, private practice in psychotherapy, professional supervision of therapists and lecturer in the field of psychotherapy.

Gustavo qualified as a Medical Doctor in 1987 from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina and subsequently trained and worked in psychiatry and mental health in hospitals in Argentina and St Vincent's Hospital, Elm Park in Ireland.  Gustavo completed his Master's degree in Medical Science with the School of Psychotherapy in St Vincent's Hospital and graduated with an honors degree from UCD in 1994.

Gustavo has worked for more than 27 years in private practice, day-care and in-patient hospital settings with adults and older adolescents, both through spanish and english.  As a highly qualified practitioner in psychotherapy he has an extensive private practice where he uses his training using different approaches from psychoanalytical to short term CBT modality.

His medical background gives Gustavo a very practical and insightful approach to client's challenges.

He has also worked as a lecturer and is greatly in demand as a Supervisor.

Gustavo has a particular experience and background in the following areas:
Anxiety, Depression, Stress, Life Challenges and Changes, Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress, Eating Disorders and a whole range of behavioural and emotional issues.
