Gail began her professional career in nursing childcare and education and worked in the health services for many years, graduating in 1999 from the Institute of Creative Counselling and Psychotherapy in Dublin where she later trained as a supervisor (accredited to IACP).  She pursued further training in addiction and Gestalt Therapy and completed The Irish Institute of Couple Counselling relationship training at the Marriage and Relationship Services. She has extensive experience of working with Individuals and Couples with a wide range of issues.  She is also experienced in working in a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) modality.

At present she is a member of the accreditation committee of The Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and is particularly interested in raising standards and awareness.
