Catriona has worked in the area of Counselling & Psychotherapy in Ireland and UK since 1989, in both voluntary and public sector agencies. She qualified in 1996 with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Adult Counselling from Birkbeck College, University of London.
“My theoretical approach is informed by both Psychodynamic and Attachment Theories. My professional practice is based on 20 years’ experience of working with adults and young people on all issues related to mental health. My areas of work include depression, anxiety and panic attacks, childhood abuse and trauma, self-esteem, loss and bereavement, relationships, parenting difficulties and staff support. I am also co-founder of Lifespan Counselling & Psychotherapy which provides therapy in all areas of gynaecological and reproductive health”.
